Questions & Answers
Is it really a 10-year warranty?
Yes — if we have supplied and installed it, our warranty covers everything. You won’t get shrinking, warping, cracks or splintering. Just give us a call if you have any problems at all. (No warranty on self-installations.)
How do I clean my decking?
It’s all very straightforward. You don’t need special cleaning fluids or scrubbing brushes — just a light pressure wash, once or twice a year.
Do I need to treat it?
No varnish, painting or treating is required — ever. That’s one of the biggest advantages of uPVC over timber.
Will it fade?
Is it recyclable?
Yes — uPVC is 100% recyclable. Unlike composite boards, which are made of multiple materials that end up in landfill, ours can be fully reprocessed. We’ve teamed up with VEKA Recycling, who recycle all our offcuts back into new boards — so none of our uPVC waste ever goes to landfill.
Is it really made in the UK?
Yes. All our uPVC decking, fencing and balustrades are manufactured in UK factories to UK quality standards.
Is it cost effective?
Unlike timber decking, Deckrite uPVC products need no maintenance beyond simple cleaning — no ongoing expense on timber treatments. It easily outlives untreated or poorly maintained timber, making it far cheaper over its lifetime.
Can I extend it later?
Yes — all our decking installations can be extended, reduced or relocated at any time. Your deck can grow and change with you.
